Aims & Mission Statement

The Society's main aims are:

  • Fostering fellowship amongst Old Melburnians
  • Promoting the welfare of the School and the advancement of students leaving the School
  • Raising funds for the use and benefit of the School
  • Promoting sport, recreation, and education among Old Melburnians by providing financial assistance to associations, clubs and teams for this purpose
  • Providing prizes and rewards for education and support for students of the School and Old Melburnians and establishing scholarships, exhibitions, bursaries and funds for the purpose of promoting education
  • The Society maintains a close working relationship with the School and is represented on the School Council. The Society fosters an active interest in the School through its network of over 12,000 Old Melburnians.
Mission Statement

To facilitate and actively encourage the continued involvement of all Old Melburnians in the wider community of Melbourne Grammar School with a view to ensuring the continued well being of our School and its Old Melburnians.
