Visitors to Grimwade House often comment on the warm and welcoming 'village' atmosphere, which is a reflection of our sense of community.

We greatly value the working partnership between home and school and do all we can to bring families into classrooms and school activities whenever it is possible. We even have a grandparents and special friends day where children are encouraged to show a loved one around their School and to share morning tea.

There are a number of informal and formal avenues to become involved with School life: Friends of Grammar Grimwade (parents), The Grammar Foundation (fundraising) and The Old Melburnians (alumni), all of which provide vast amounts of energy and expertise and help bond our community together.
