Grimwade House Meet the Head

Grimwade House's Head of Campus, Andrew Boyd, was appointed in 1998. Mr Boyd has had wide experience in independent schools and holds a M.Ed. from Monash University specialising in educational policy and administration.

Andrew has three daughters (two adult and one teenager) and a large extended family in Melbourne. He enjoys preparing for family gatherings, gardening, visits to the beach, reading and enhancing his IT skills.

"As the coeducational junior campus of Melbourne Grammar School we strive to offer every girl and boy an engaging and active primary education. Our aim is to develop a personal sense of worth and confidence in each of our young students and to encourage individual talent to flourish.

We have an unyielding commitment to academic excellence, and to making education stimulating and innovative. We offer progressive learning experiences in a wide range of intellectual, social, cultural, spiritual and physical areas.

Students have boundless opportunities to develop leadership skills under the guidance of enthusiastic classroom and specialist staff. Through the strength of our teaching staff, excellent facilities, broad programmes and robust culture, Grimwade House develops children who are more confident, more resilient and well prepared for life.

Families are warmly invited to tour the school and see how Grimwade House can be part of their lives."
