Developing the natural wonder and curiosity of young minds is an adventure for students, families and teachers. Grimwade House girls and boys discover the joy of learning and the fun of working and playing together. We celebrate every step towards achievement.
Our children build the foundations of literacy, numeracy and cognitive skills and learn more about themselves, each other and the world.
The curriculum includes English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Music, Visual Arts, Religious and Values Education, Health and Physical Education. Mandarin Chinese is introduced at Prep and all children learn this language to Year 6.
Technology is fully integrated into the curriculum, allowing teachers and students to work, interact and exchange information in imaginative ways. Students are often seen working together on classroom projects or researching material on the School's intranet. All Year 5 and 6 students have their own notebook computers.
