Framing The Future

Welcome to Melbourne Grammar School’s, Framing the Future Youth Leadership Conference. We are delighted that 450 Year 10 students from 26 different schools will participate in this significant event.

This conference brings together today’s leaders and the leaders of tomorrow. There will be plenty of discussion and sharing of ideas. Over three days, conference delegates will engage in a variety of activities designed to encourage thinking about the future. Today’s students face a rapidly changing and unpredictable world. It will be a world where everyone will have to contribute to the welfare of the planet. We want students at this conference to contemplate their future world and to imagine the part they can play in shaping it. Leadership is not the preserve of the privileged few; everyone can have an influence and contribute to the betterment of society. The possibilities are limited only by our imagination.

I wish the conference every success and am confident that some great work will be done.
