Harleston Comes Alive with the Arrival of the Prep 2008 Class Harleston, Melbourne Grammar’s Grimwade House Junior School, saw a barrage of new Prep students rush through its ornate doors on Thursday 31 January 2008. Even a light shower of rain failed to dilute the eagerness of new students as they hurried up the path to begin a new and exciting time in their lives. Uniforms were pressed, collars straightened and hair groomed to perfection as the excited students posed for their first day photographs on the steps of Harleston. Proud mums and dads watched as their children tried to stand still for the photographer. In class, the girls and boys made new friends and helped one another to settle in and start the day's activities. Soon all heads were bent and students were intent on the tasks at hand, a few giggles escaping here and there, where they couldn't contain their excitement. With a flurry of pint-sized students and mass of excited voices, a journey of learning and unimaginable discoveries has started for Melbourne Grammar School’s brand new Prep students.
