The Don and Lorna Parncutt Family Scholarship supports an academically talented student who, due to family financial circumstances, would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend Melbourne Grammar School.

The Scholarship was established in 2013 by Bruce Parncutt AO (OM 1968) in honor of his parents, Don and Lorna Parncutt.

It is offered to a student entering the School normally at Year 9 as a day or boarding student. It will next be available in 2024.

The Scholarship provides up to 80% remission of boarding or tuition fees.

Students that apply for our Annual scholarships will have the opportunity to indicate if they wish to be automatically considered for any available Access scholarships.

Applications for 2024 Annual Scholarships are now open. APPLY HERE

This Scholarship is means tested with shortlisted applicants being asked to provide evidence of family financial circumstances.

The intent of the Scholarship is to encourage the student recipient to engage in the life of the School community, during and after his tenure.
