Annual entrance scholarships

Annual entrance scholarships are available to new and existing Melbourne Grammar School students entering Year 7 and Year 9. Boarding scholarships may be offered at other year levels, depending on individual circumstances.

Applications for Academic and Music scholarships normally close in January one year ahead of commencement. There is some flexibility with application dates for Boarding scholarships.

Once awarded, the scholarship benefit is normally provided to the recipient until the end of Year 12.

Applications for 2020 academic and music scholarships are now open (with 2020 being the year the student would enter Year 7 or Year 9).

Boys studying on a student visa are ineligible for Melbourne Grammar School scholarships.
