Making a major gift

Page Content

A major gift is a significant way to help shape students’ futures and have a substantial, lasting impact across the School.

Gifts of $25,000 or more made in one payment or over a number of years are considered major gifts at the School. These generous donations can be applied across one or more of our philanthropic pillars, or another area in line with the School’s vision.

If you are thinking about making this level of investment, we would be pleased to hear about your ideas. Contact us to discuss how your gift can have the greatest impact.

Commemorative giving

Making a donation is a wonderful way to pay tribute to a family member or friend, teacher or other person. Your gift honours their influence and legacy in your life while supporting current and future students at Melbourne Grammar School.

Some people choose to establish a named scholarship to honour or in memory of a person they wish to recognise. Others contribute to the School’s buildings and grounds.

We would welcome an opportunity to speak with you about how you can best create a lasting tribute, providing a way of ensuring that this person’s life can be celebrated for many years to come.
