The EH Flack Scholarship recognises a prospective boarding student entering Year 7, 9, 10 or 11 who demonstrates strong intellectual aptitude, leadership traits, and breadth of involvement beyond academic studies.
We are currently inviting families to apply for the EH Flack Scholarship for 2023 entry into the School.
Since 1940, the Scholarship has served as a means of honouring the legacy of Edwin Flack (OM 1890) at Melbourne Grammar, by providing an opportunity for a boy from the country, whose parents would otherwise not be able to afford to pay for the first-class education provided at Melbourne Grammar School.
The Scholarship provides 75% remission of boarding and tuition fees.
This Scholarship is means tested with shortlisted applicants being asked to provide evidence of family financial circumstances.
How to apply
The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of school reports, academic entrance testing and other supporting documentation. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete entrance testing and may be interviewed by the Headmaster.
To apply, please complete this form and submit the supporting documents.
- Copies of your two most recent school reports
- Year 7 NAPLAN results
- Supporting documentation to accompany the application
Further information about the supporting documents can be found here.
Applications close Wednesday 2 November 2022.
