Healthy Relationships Parent Information Evening

Parents and Guardians of Year 6 MGS students and Year 8, 10 and 11 MGS and MGGS students

As part of our school programs to educate our students about values, behaviour, and rights when it comes to relationships, we have engaged Dr Tessa Opie for a second year to augment the work that we are already doing within the School. Dr Opie is the founder and director of in your skin® and is an advocate for healthy and consenting relationships. She has worked as an educator across the government, not-for-profit, and private sectors, and has ongoing experience as a guest lecturer at various universities.

You will be able to attend this event in person, however there is a limit to the seating in the venue. The presentation will also be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend. The event is free, however all parents planning to attend in person must register. Once the capacity limit of the venue is reached, registrations will close.

A link will be sent out to all Melbourne Grammar and Melbourne Girls’ Grammar parents of relevant year levels by Friday 4 March.

Please note: The format of this event may need to change due to the School’s COVID-19 guidelines at the time of the event.

Guests attending the event must be fully vaccinated in line with the Victorian Government’s directive and will be asked to present proof of vaccination upon entry.
