Grimwade House is a place of learning, friendship and fun. Here, girls and boys in Prep to Year 6 build firm academic foundations in an environment designed to meet their specific needs.
A warm and welcoming community
Expert teachers, high academic standards and a dynamic collection of co-curricular activities are all part of life at Grimwade House. Above all, we know it’s the relationships between students, parents and teachers that underpin our success. We see relationships as central to our goal of developing students academically, emotionally and spiritually.
Specialised learning environments
Located on three hectares of leafy grounds in Caulfield, Grimwade House is a rare example of a primary school that offers exceptional learning environments designed and built specifically to meet the needs of each age group. From our pool and sports grounds to our play areas, science labs, art studios and sensory garden, we learn and teach in spaces that support children as they grow.
A focus on growth and achievement
What sets Grimwade House apart is our understanding that learning is multidimensional. We know that children will develop and learn at different rates in different areas. Our teachers are experienced in observing, assessing and encouraging each student, using personalised learning strategies to inspire and challenge each day.
