Melbourne Grammar School Foundation AGM 2021

Thursday 6 May 2021 at 6.30pm followed by a cocktail reception

The evening will feature a keynote address by Dr Amanda Day (OM 1994), General Paediatrician at Monash Children’s Private Clinic and Offspring Health who will talk about her educational journey that started at Grimwade House, and her career in medicine including the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Dr Amanda Day (OM 1994) is a General Paediatrician with a special interest in allergy and over 20 years’ experience in medicine.  She studied at Melbourne University followed by the Royal Children’s Hospital, undertook a fellowship at the Cambridge University Teaching Hospital and a Masters in Allergy at Imperial College, London. She is passionate about health and wellbeing in children.

Amanda is a current parent of two children at Grimwade House, and a multi-generational Old Melburnian. She currently sits on the Melbourne Grammar School Council and the Melbourne Grammar Foundation Board. Amanda is working with the Old Melburnians on re-engaging female alumni, and with Friends of Grammar (FOG) to produce events that help develop parental skills in the areas of mental health and wellbeing during an epidemic of anxiety and depression in our young.

This event is your opportunity to hear about 2020 activities, the management of Foundation investments, and how your philanthropy is bringing about positive change at Melbourne Grammar School.

Meeting arrangements are subject to change with notice, depending on COVID-19 directives.
