The EH Flack Scholarship recognises a boarding student entering Years 9 or 10 in 2027 who will make a positive contribution to the life of Melbourne Grammar School through a strong work ethic and meaningful involvement beyond academic studies.
Since 1940, the Scholarship has honoured the legacy of Edwin Flack (OM 1890) by providing a life-changing opportunity for a boy from regional Australia who would not otherwise be able to attend Melbourne Grammar School as a boarder without the benefit of a scholarship.
The EH Flack Scholarship is means-tested, but it generally provides at least 75% remission of boarding and tuition fees.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to provide supporting documentation outlining their family’s financial circumstances.
