About Nigel Peck AM (OM 1945)

The CLL was named in honour of Mr Nigel Peck AM in recognition of his outstanding service to the School over many years. One of the School’s most prolific benefactors, he also gave generously of his time, expertise and experience.

The founder of a highly successful industrial electrical products firm, Mr Peck’s foresight, drive and energy had a significant impact on the evolution of the School over more than 50 years.

When remembering his time at Melbourne Grammar School, Mr Peck spoke of his desire to seize every opportunity to participate in School life. This approach extended beyond graduation into achievements across multiple fields of endeavour including winning two sailing world championships.
